The link above is to a video of the easiest way to bind a quilt... ever. I can't believe I've completed 11 quilts before knowing this. My life has changed.

While watching this video I did a major face palm... I've been doing it all wrong.

Oh well, you quilt and learn! That's how the saying goes, right?

This week I'm working on the super duper secret surprise mystery quilt and unfortunately, I can't post any more pictures of it because I can't give away what it is!

So, instead, here's a picture of my dog sleeping with her tongue out. Enjoy!

Quilt on,

  1. Cool. Almost like I do it, although I like the idea about not trimming the quilt until the binding is on. I also really like that gadget on the machine to line up 45 degree angles. Gotta get one of those.

My dog sleeps with his tongue out too. She's cute!

  2. I like the 45 degree TOOL (Big surprise eh?). I always trim my quilts square before the binding because I've never been really successful with leaving some of the batting out. I suppose I should indeed give it another whirl!

    Nice pup!

    1. Rofl Susan, I think you need to go to Tool's Anonymous! I must admit, though, I have the same problem... admitting is the first step, right?
